MarkClip processes page content locally in your browser. We do not upload article bodies to our servers.

What we collect

• Clip content: stays on-device (clipboard / local download). Not sent to MarkClip servers.
• Local storage: daily free-clip count and Pro activation state on your machine.
• Purchases: email and payment metadata processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem. We do not store card numbers.
• Support: messages you send to our support email.

How we use it

• Provide clipping, copy, .md download, and Free/Pro limits.
• Deliver and validate Pro license keys after Creem checkout.
• Answer support and comply with legal/accounting needs.

Third parties

• Google Chrome Web Store (install / updates).
• Creem (checkout and payouts).
